Greenhouse

Yorlets grows and creates their own hanging baskets and containers as well as bedding and vegetable plants.  We have three greenhouses in which we grow our baskets and bedding/vegetable plants.

We use deluxe baskets as they are bigger than the regular sizes.  This helps in preventing the flowers from getting root bound.  All baskets have a slow release fertizer placed in the soil.  Fungicidal soil is also used to prevent any bacteria or disease common to the plants that we grow.  You do need, however;  to fertilize at least once a week  to ten days depending on how much watering you do to maintain their beauty.    All baskets are grown from plugs in our greenhouses.   We have two large greenhouses and one smaller greenhouse which is attached to the store itself.

How to plant:

Make sure your hole is larger in size than the container plant you have picked.  This allows the roots to expand with loose soil surrounding the roots.  Remove the container and break up the roots at the bottom of the container so they grow more freely.  A root stimulator can be provided which we carry in our store.  Place the plant in the hole and cover with soil.  If you do not have great soil use a peat moss mix or mushroom soil mixed with your pre-existing soil.   Flush the top of the ball even with the top of your hole.  Do not cover up the stem or trunk.   Keep watered until established.
